Ultralite Enterprises, Inc. guarantees all new and factory-refurbished phototherapy systems against any failure or defect in materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of installation. Cosmetic damages such as dents or scratches that occur after installation are not covered by the warranty.

Ultralite warrants all fluorescent lamps against any failure or defect in materials for a period of one-hundred (100) days from the date of installation. Lamps are not warranted for hours of operational usage.
The warranty is void if the equipment is abused, altered in any manner, serviced by anyone other than an authorized representative of Ultralite Enterprises, Inc., or connected to any electrical power except as described in the system’s specification.

Ultralite will repair or replace any portion or component found to be defective at its option. During the first five (5) years after installation, Ultralite will bear the cost of all transportation, shipping, and labor charges required to repair any defective component.

ULTRALITE ASSUMES NEITHER RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPROPER MEDICAL USE OF THIS EQUIPMENT NOR ANY LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY AS A RESULT OF MISUSE OR COMPONENT FAILURE. THE EQUIPMENT IS MANUFACTURED WITH SUFFICIENT SAFEGUARDS AND WARNING DEVICES THAT IF REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS SUCH AS THOSE OUTLINED ARE FOLLOWED, THERE SHOULD BE NO DANGER OF INJURY FROM EQUIPMENT FAILURE.

Extended Warranties

Ultralite Enterprises, Inc. does not offer a standard Extended Warranty program.

This is because it is our belief that...

  1. No customer should be paying for something they don’t really need, and
  2. Our systems our so dependable that, should a system need repair after the standard Warranty, the cost for that repair will be far less than the on-going cost of owning an Extended Warranty.

If you feel an Extended Warranty provides an added level of insurance for your investment, please contact us and we will prepare an Extended Warranty contract tailored to meet your needs at the most cost-effective level possible.

Product End of Life Announcement

ULTRALITE has always strived to maintain its products longer than anyone else in the market. However, due to obsolescence of lamps and other parts used in the products listed above, we must now discontinue these first- generation hand-foot systems.

Over the last several years, the vast majority of hand-foot phototherapy systems requested by our customers have been UVB-Narrowband. We cannot provide guidance to the benefits or effectiveness of the UVB-Narrowband but we do recommend that you contact medical colleagues that may be using UVB- Narrowband to see if this may be a better alternative for the treatments you provide.

Below are the models included in the E.O.L. (End of Life) Announcement :

Replacement Lamps

The lamps used in these systems will not be available after the end of next year and currently have a long lead-time from the manufacturer. If you plan to continue use of a 1st generation system until the End-of- Service date, ULTRALITE recommends that you order an adequate quantity of lamps as soon as possible so we can get your order queued and fulfilled while lamps are available.
