Services

 

We recommend that you have your systems serviced annually by an Ultralite Authorized Service Technician, at which time we’ll calibrate, reference, and clean your system.

Basic annual service

Inspection and verification of proper system operation. Calibration verification; re-calibration if required. Check current draw at disconnect location. Basic repairs or adjustments to system/controller if applicable. Examples

  • Configuration changes to controller

  • Reconnection of sensor(s) if needed

  • Tightening of loose handles/ mirror

  • Patient interrupt button replacement (additional cost for new button will be incurred)

 

Detailed annual service

  • Configuration changes to controller

  • Reconnection of sensor(s) if needed

  • Tightening of loose handles/ mirror

  • Patient’s interrupt button replacement. (additional cost for new button will be incurred)

  • Removal of outside covers to access internal components for the removal of dust and any additional debris.
  • Check for any loose electrical connections or indications of heat related problems to any components.
  • Lubrication of fan motor if required. Check current draw at disconnect location.
  • Modification of electrical connections required to change system from one configuration to another. (Example: Combined UVA/UVB to just UVA)
  • Floor plate replacement. (additional cost for new plate will be incurred) Caster wheels replaced if necessary. Filter replacement.

 

System Repair Service

  • On-site repairs of phototherapy system (additional cost for replacement parts will be incurred).
  • Additional On-site System Services (per additional system)
  • Repair/annual servicing of each additional on-site system. System(s) must be located at the same address.

 

Lamp Disposal

Remove exhausted lamps from treatment facility. Environmentally-friendly disposal of exhausted lamps.
